As far as I can tell there is no correlation between fast ground and horses getting injured. Whenever I go to ride in Mumbai the Mahalaxmi track is firm but there are no problems. The same horses keep going back time and time again without any issues whatsoever. The same is true in Hong Kong, where you seldom get anything other than what we would call firm ground."]]></description>
