For ages I've used Apple Reader in place of an ad blocker. It works well and I also get to see how the natural state of the web. Many sites have been unreadable on mobile for 1-2 years now. A part of the reason ai has enormous consumer adoption is that Google's web destruction practices have reached the end of the road.
