It provides software for music-making and creative computing. This software, called jythonMusic, is a collection of Python libraries for music, images, graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and connecting to external MIDI devices, smartphones, and tablets, among others.

The jythonMusic package is an extension of the jMusic library and incorporates other cross-platform programming tools.

This website offers sample code, API documentation, and associated resources.  It is meant to be self-contained, with the book providing additional material and resources.]]></description>

I'm teaching a workshop in Chicago this week where the question came up (again), "Can we do this from JES?"
