Ein Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Gunter Dueck, der nicht nur informativ ist, sondern auch wunderbar unterhaltend. Herr Dueck ist sicher ein erfahrener Redner. Als Cheftechnologe bei IBM kommt er des öfteren zu Wort. „Der Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Gunter Dueck war eines der Highlights auf dem ZVEI-Jahreskongress 2011 in Berlin.“ So in der Beschreibung zum VIdeo auf Youtube.
Der Professor stellt seine Gedanken auch im Sinnraum, seinem Blog, vor. Dort kann man seiner Philosophie gründlich auf den Zahn fühlen. Wer gerade eine Stunde übrig hat kann jedoch auch



Das Internet gibt es noch nicht – ist die Kernaussage des folgenden Vortrags. Die Infrastruktur ist noch lange nicht so dicht ausgearbeitet, daß das Internet tatsächlich leisten könnte, was man von ihm erwartet.

Wir müssen unsere Gesellschaft umbauen, neue Berufe erfinden und die Infrastruktur ausbauen. Dann noch die Unlust verlieren und auf so manches Hergebrachte verzichten, dann könnte es etwas werden mit dem Netzwerk. Ein anregender Vortrag. Klasse.

As seen in the streaming of Google IO 2011, physical computing and interactive enviroments are one of the main topics opening the conference. The Android Open Accessory Kit  is going to allow Android related devices receive data from different sensors (just via USB, for now).

The Android Open Accessory Development Kit (ADK) provides an implementation of an Android USB accessory that is based on the   Arduino open source electronics prototyping platform, the accessory’s hardware design files,   code that implements   the accessory’s firmware, and the Android application that interacts with the   accessory. The hardware design files and code are contained in the ADK package download.


The board is  based on the Arduino Mega2560 and Circuits@Home USB Host     Shield designs, since it communicates to the phone in its “accessory” mode. You can get the custom library / firmware to make it run & test with the shield pictured on top.

As I contribute to the development of the open source wiki engine I refer to in the following examples, this is obviously my software of choice (hint). There is however a range of excellent free software you can use to this aim (provided they have good ACL support and allow you to easily modify the look and feel of the output via CSS, as I’ll show later).

Let me first clear one major confusion about what wiki software is for. One common misunderstanding about wiki engines is that they can only be used to run actual wikis (or web-based collaborative projects such as the Wikipedia). Wiki engines are, on the contrary, simple and flexible tools for maintaining and managing different kinds of non-wiki websites, without bothering with FTP sessions.

Komplexe System zu planen, zu steuern und schlussendlich zu beherrschen (wenn man in diesem Zusammenhang überhaupt von “beherrschen” sprechen darf) ist eine große Herausforderung für einen Projektmanager und sein Team. Ich meine, dass Wissen über Systemtheorie, Komplexität und Managementkybernetik zur Grundausstattung eines jeden Projektmanagers gehören sollte. Zumindest ab einer gewissen Projektgröße und Komplexität.
