However, the first thing I did when I run the app first time - I opened preferences attempting to change the colors of notes. But there are no preferences, and there is no way to use a color other than six predefined.

I decided to fix that.

Avalanche Technology Group is proud to bring you Should I Change My Password, a service that allows you to check anonymously if your password has been compromised.

We comb the depths of the internet to find email and password data sets that have been hacked, leaked or compromised. We aggregate this data so that you can easily check whether your email addresses and passwords have been included in any of these breaches.

By signing up for an Email Watchdog account, you will be immediately notified if any of your email addresses are identified in future breaches. This means that you can change your passwords as soon as possible, preventing opportunistic hackers from accessing your accounts.
Learn more about the Email Watchdog.

We currently have over 203 Million email addresses which have been released by hackers, and this list continues to grow.

Two security researchers have posted an outline for a talk about Apple’s iMessage security to be presented next month. The report claims that Apple could — but not that it does — intercept iMessages and read them if it wishes.

Apple had previously claimed, via its security documents, that iMessages were encrypted end-to-end and that it is unable to read them. Researchers ‘GG’ and Cyril ‘Pod2G‘ Cattiaux of firm Quarkslab claim that they have discovered a method to perform a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack, which can intercept these messages and allow them to be read, despite the encryption used by Apple.

It has been an embarrassing week for security firm HBGary and its HBGary Federal offshoot. HBGary Federal CEO Aaron Barr thought he had unmasked the hacker hordes of Anonymous and was preparing to name and shame those responsible for co-ordinating the group's actions, including the denial-of-service attacks that hit MasterCard, Visa, and other perceived enemies of WikiLeaks late last year.

When Barr told one of those he believed to be an Anonymous ringleader about his forthcoming exposé, the Anonymous response was swift and humiliating. HBGary's servers were broken into, its e-mails pillaged and published to the world, its data destroyed, and its website defaced. As an added bonus, a second site owned and operated by Greg Hoglund, owner of HBGary, was taken offline and the user registration database published.

Over the last week, I've talked to some of those who participated in the HBGary hack to learn in detail how they penetrated HBGary's defenses and gave the company such a stunning black eye—and what the HBGary example means for the rest of us mere mortals who use the Internet.

What TIME doesn’t say is that their poll was so totally manipulated that the results of the poll are not an indication of who is the most influential, but instead they stand as a monument to Time’s incompetence.

Looking at the poll results we see clear evidence of the hack. The first letters of the top 21 finalists in the poll spell out ‘Marblecake, also the game’. Evidence of precision hackery for anyone to see.
